This book is dedicated to a central subject of music therapy: it paints a multifaceted and highly topical picture of improvisation in music therapy. At the same time, it is a specialist book developed along the work of the improvisation teacher and theorist Eckhard Weymann, unmistakably characterised by his profile and character. Weymann's departure from the management of a renowned music therapy training centre provided the impetus for this book. Karin Holzwarth, Prof., geb. 1968, Dipl.-Rhythmikerin, Dipl.-Musiktherapeutin (DMtG), Psychotherapie (HprG), Studiengangsleitung und Professorin für Musiktherapie am Institut für Musiktherapie der Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg. Musiktherapeutin an der Staatlichen Jugendmusikschule Hamburg. Praxisschwerpunkt: Kinder und Jugendliche, pädagogisches Setting, Geflüchtete.
